My Journey as a NASM Certified Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach

While my professional career has focused on regulatory policy and legal frameworks, my passion for health and wellness led me to pursue certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as both a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC).

Why I Pursued These Certifications

It started with a pair of dumbbells and the humble goal of not turning into a desk potato. I needed something that made sense, had visible progress, and didn’t require reading legal texts at 10 PM. Enter: weight training.

What began as a stress outlet quickly became a passion. I loved seeing numbers go up—more weight, more reps, more energy. Eventually, curiosity turned into commitment. 

Now, I lift things up and put them down—with purpose. And honestly? The fitness mindset—discipline, consistency, and long-term growth—has made me sharper at everything else too, from compliance frameworks to career pivots. Health is wealth. Muscles are a bonus.

Muscles don’t lie, cheat, or ghost you. They show up when you show up. And the best part? You never have to guess what they need. As a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer (Credential ID: 1251501530), I follow the science: muscles grow on protein, progressive weight training, and good rest. It’s not magic—it’s consistency, backed by data.

🍕 Real Talk on Abs & Pizza

That lean, muscular photo on the right? Yeah, that was me—but also, not me every day. It took a very specific (and temporary) cut to get there. I’ve lived through the spreadsheets, the macro math, the meal prep. And I can tell you this:

Sustainability matters more than six-pack lighting.

 

As a Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC) (Credential ID 1231137553) , I believe food should be smart, not sad. You can absolutely stay fit and eat pizza—with balance, flexibility, and a little nutritional wisdom.

 

Fitness isn't about perfection. It’s about designing habits that fit your life, your energy needs, and your joy.
